At the School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics we are passionate about exploring what culture means and finding out about how communication works. Stories are powerful – they help us to articulate who we are but they can also help us to see through other eyes or to escape to new horizons. In this exhibition we share with you some of our favourite books in translation: good reads from around the world that will transport you to other times, places and states of mind.
