This is a core module, primarily for students of Spanish who are completing a degree programme but it may be of interest to students of other disciplines and Erasmus students who want to work to an advanced level in Spanish. The module explicitly builds on the Level 2 module SPAN20060, consolidating skills equivalent to level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR). The aim of this module is to produce a variety of written texts in Spanish at an advanced level using different source materials (written and audio-visual). Classes are conducted in Spanish and students will demonstrate their oral skills applying contents studied during the semester. Students who achieve at least a B grade in this module are deemed to be successfully progressing towards the CEFR level C1.
